This is a guide I made a while back for people who were getting ripped off by hyips, autosurfs, investment scams. Most of these sites were run by underaged kids who had no clue what they were doing.

You want to go up the chain of command and just ask the first person and other employees in company if possible. Ask them 3-4 times, bug them until you at least get a reply or a response. If you get what you’re looking for, consider yourself lucky. Email them, call them, write them certified letters - do whatever it takes to try and get a response. Be sure and always save records of what you sent them and what you’ve received. Print it out and save it somewhere.

 How to Increase Alexa Ranking:

1. Download Alexa Toolbar from alexa.com and browse your own website.

2. Encourage your friends (and colleagues, if its your company’s website) to install alexa toolbar and browse your website.

3. Signup on webmaster forums and add your websites in your message signatures and posts some articles. (This may also increase your google ranking as well.)

4. Join an autosurf network for alexa credits. Most of these networks are free to join but you may need to pay them to buy credit (in case you do not want to surf and gain credit.)
Visits from autosurf networks are not real visitors. You may not need them if your domain is not fairly new.

5. Add alexa rank widget on your website.

6. Using alexa redirects also helps.

7. Use Pay Per Click on major search engines. If you have alexa rank widget installed on your website then any visit will be a credit to your alexa rank.

Google recently sent out a letter to AdWords Advertisers to halt further ads which promote “e-Gold”. This e-mail letter from Google was sent on Sept. 5, 2007 - content follows.

Dear AdWords Advertiser,

We are writing to inform you of a change to Google’s advertising policies that may affect your AdWords account. In the coming weeks, we will no longer accept AdWords ads that promote e-gold.

Ads and websites are also not accepted for related content which includes, but is not limited to, e-gold exchange, e-gold investment, and e-gold accounts. When we make this change, Google will suspend all ads identified as being in violation of this policy.

After a month and a half, I was able to proceed with my withdrawal request at moneybookers.com. I’m crossing my fingers hoping the withdrawal will complete without trouble. I’m however posting this update now as other people having trouble with them have been finding my previous entry.

It was quite a pain to deal with their staff who expect you to send personal documents (scans of your passport, photo ID, credit card, bank statement,…) by email. The process took so long because they were incredibly slow at replying, sometimes waiting over a week and me having to resend my email several times before I received an answer.

So here’s a sum up of the slow and painful process… This is long and boring so be warned. All quotes are my own.

I the last 2 days thousands of e-gold accounts have been blocked with no apparent reason. Money-monitor e-gold account that I have used without problems for about 2 years has been blocked too. I have sent 2 tickets to e-gold regarding this matter - no reply so far. Support phone is busy, when you are lucky and you contact with e-gold via phone they reply that: this type of issue can be resolved by E-mail only.

Here is a copy of an email E-gold will send you with the reason of the block:

Your account has been blocked under our Rights of Association clause in the
account user agreement.
